Ingredients:

  • 250 gms Milk/Dark/Combination of both Chocolate
  • 250 gms Heavy Cream
  • 250 gms Whipped cream

Instructions:

  • Cut the chocolate into small pieces.
  • Heat the heavy cream and pour it over the chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes and then mix well until smooth. Alternatively, you can pour the heavy cream over the chopped chocolate and microwave it in 30-second blasts until fully melted. This mixture is the ganache. (Reserve some ganache to pour as a top layer if you wish to.)
  • Let the ganache cool completely.
  • Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold the whipped cream into the ganache until it forms a nice light mousse.

Mousse can be used in various ways. You can:

  1. Frost a cake with it (make sure it is stiff enough).
  2. Create a simple dessert.
  3. Layer it with biscuit or cake crumbs and serve as a dessert.
  4. Layer it with fruit compote.
  5. Let your creativity play with it and explore other uses.
