Ingredients:
- 250 gms Milk/Dark/Combination of both Chocolate
- 250 gms Heavy Cream
- 250 gms Whipped cream
Instructions:
- Cut the chocolate into small pieces.
- Heat the heavy cream and pour it over the chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes and then mix well until smooth. Alternatively, you can pour the heavy cream over the chopped chocolate and microwave it in 30-second blasts until fully melted. This mixture is the ganache. (Reserve some ganache to pour as a top layer if you wish to.)
- Let the ganache cool completely.
- Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the ganache until it forms a nice light mousse.
Mousse can be used in various ways. You can:
- Frost a cake with it (make sure it is stiff enough).
- Create a simple dessert.
- Layer it with biscuit or cake crumbs and serve as a dessert.
- Layer it with fruit compote.
- Let your creativity play with it and explore other uses.
