I visited Karunya University about three weeks prior to the workshop that was conducted for the faculty of Karunya School of Management (KSM). During my visit, I met the Dean of the School of Management, Dr. J. Clement Sudhahar. I mentioned to him some of the best practices being followed by various institutions. The Dean then asked me whether I could conduct a workshop for the faculty of KSM, to which I agreed.
On July 11, 2024, I traveled from my hometown of Kochi to Coimbatore and went straight to the campus. Visiting the campus to conduct the workshop brought back many memories of the training we received as students in various areas. I had the opportunity to interact with both new faculty members and the long-serving faculty who have been part of Karunya for years.
During the workshop, I shared a few insights on how to prioritize mentoring and delivered a presentation on the topic. The feedback from the faculty was overwhelmingly positive, and I felt a deep sense of fulfillment in giving back to the institution that played a significant role in shaping who I am today.
What made the day even more memorable was meeting my best friend, who came to Karunya just to see me. It was a joyful and nostalgic moment, making the day truly unforgettable. It is always a great joy to have the opportunity to give something back to the institution that helped refine me into the person I am today.
