ALUMNI IN KARUNYA FOR STUDENT INDUCTION PROGRAM- WELCOMING FIRST YEARS
- Mr. Dini Prakash, an alumnus from the 1994-98 Mechanical batch and currently a Naval Commander in Cochin, visited the campus on August 10, 2023. He delivered a lecture titled ‘Shifting Gears to Shine Brighter’ as part of the Student Induction Program (SIP 2023).
2. Mrs. Daniel Jacob, an alumna from the 2003-05 MBA batch and currently the Vice President of HR at EC Group in Chennai, visited the campus on August 12, 2023. She delivered a lecture titled ‘Know-Grow-Better’ as part of the Student Induction Program (SIP 2023).
3. “Mrs. Gladys S, an alumna from the 2006-10 Bioinformatics batch and currently an Assistant Professor at IIM Kozhikode, visited the campus on August 14, 2023. She delivered a lecture titled ‘How to Get Better at Being More Human?’ as part of the Student Induction Program (SIP 2023).”
“Mr. Selvinson, an alumnus from the 1990-94 ECE batch and currently the Senior Vice President at Reliance Jio in Mumbai, visited the campus on August 19, 2023. He delivered a lecture titled ‘Digital Transformation’ as part of the Student Induction Program (SIP 2023).”
ALUMNI LECTURE SERIES (ALUMNI INVOLVED IN MENTORING THE CURRENT STUDENTS)
5. Karunya Alumni interact with the current students and motivate them by sharing their experiences. All the divisions conduct these types of lecture series once a month. Approximately 15 sessions happen every month, providing a platform for alumni to interact with the current students. One such event was recently conducted by the Food Processing Engineering division via online mode. Mr. Shan Franklin R, from NESTLE Switzerland (an alumnus from the 2020-22 batch of Food Processing Technology), interacted with the students of Food Processing Technology on October 10, 2023, and shared his experiences and the opportunities in the industry.
