DUBAI SHARJA ALUMNI MEET 2023
The Dubai Sharjah Alumni Meet 2023 was conducted on October 19, 2023. Sixteen alumni participated and shared their memories. Dr. Senith, Head of Branding and Promotion, and Dr. Praising, a faculty member from the MBA department, represented the university and interacted with the alumni.
HYDERABAD CHAPTER MEET- 18TH NOVEMBER 2023
Dr. G. Prince Arulraj, Vice Chancellor of KITS, and Dr. Joseph John Marshal, Deputy Head of Alumni Affairs, represented the institute and interacted with the alumni at KHAG’23. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the office bearers of the Hyderabad Alumni chapter for organizing this event. The outcomes of the meeting are as follows:
Networking: KHAG’23 provided an opportunity for alumni from the Hyderabad region to connect with each other. Participants exchanged contact information, shared professional experiences, and built valuable connections.
Information Sharing: Alumni were informed about the registered alumni associations, alumni chapters across the globe, their activities, and ways in which the alumni can contribute to their alma mater in terms of placements, training sessions, etc.
Event Planning: The meeting involved discussions about upcoming events for the next three months.
Collaboration Opportunities: Alumni were informed about potential collaborations for professional development, mentorship programs, and joint initiatives that benefit both the alumni and the alma mater.
Fundraising: Alumni were informed about fundraising schemes available to alumni to support the needy.
Recognition: Senior alumni were recognized for their professional accomplishments and were requested to be the advisors for the local chapter office bearers.
Feedback and Suggestions: Alumni provided feedback on the chapter’s activities and suggested ideas for improvement. This input is valuable for ensuring that the alumni chapter remains relevant and meets the needs and expectations of its members.
Mr. James Auden, Coordinator of the Hyderabad Alumni Chapter, proposed a vote of thanks. The meeting came to an end after singing the college anthem and a closing prayer. Members enjoyed the fellowship lunch and left the meeting with a feeling that they are more connected to their alma mater and fellow alumni.

Incredible gathering at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Alumni Meet 2023, co-hosted by Karunya Deemed University and Karunya International Alumni Association (KIAA) Saudi Arabia Chapter. From the Alpha batch to the latest graduates, alumni from various divisions came together—Civil Eng, Mechanical Eng, E&I, Comp Sci Eng, MBA, Biotech—to share experiences, network, and explore opportunities.Thrilled to see such enthusiasm among the attendees, many eager to support and recruit both current students and fellow alumni. A fantastic suggestion by Mr. Leo to establish a Karunya University branch in Saudi Arabia, backed by tremendous support. Special Kudos to Mr. Jackwin, a Karunya alum and CEO based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, for his unwavering dedication in making this event a success. Gratitude to everyone involved.
